The sad and incredible story of a series that started with A+ an ended with a B. There was a time during the first three seasons in which this series gave a lot to talk about, award buzz and of course all things Viola Davis who played Annalise Keating. But the fate and curse of Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington) on Scandal followed this series as well and after the third season everything went downhill.

For some reason this is one of the highest rated seasons episode by episode on IMDB, but I suppose I watched a whole different series than the rest of the hardcore fans.

My main problem is with the characters, the title characters of this series that went from one mistake in the first season, to a whole bunch of bad decisions that cannot be called mistakes anymore. How can you root for someone that you don't believe is innocent anymore? I know, the show is called How To Get Away With Murder but still, if your characters are beyond redemption is going to be hard to keep loving them.

I have no problem with the performances, Viola Davis gave her everything on every single episode. As a Mexican of course I'm going to give a shout out to Karla Souza who played Laurel Castillo, sadly she was missing almost the whole season, but the fact that she went toe to toe against Viola in so many scenes during this six season run, is an amazing achievement. And not only her but the rest of the cast as well, but for some reason the award buzz always landed mostly on Viola and rarely on the other actors.

But class is dismissed for Annalise Keating and company, not the farewell that I loved, still they were some moments on the season worth watching, and that final time jump just to say one last good bye to this characters that we saw go from bad to worst during this six years.

Another Shondaland show less on ABC, before her new reign starts on Netflix.
